St Paul’s – London
Last week we were in London for a family Christening and took the opportunity to do some sightseeing.

We had not been to Wren’s St Paul’s Cathedral in quite a while, so we paid our respects to Lord Nelson, Wellington, Sir Christopher Wren, Sir Winston Churchill, and others. Here is a link to some historic events at St Paul’s: http://www.stpauls.co.uk/Cathedral-History/Timeline-1400-Years-of-History.
After St Paul’s we visited what we consider to be the best museum in London, the Sir John Soanes Museum (http://www.google.ie/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1W1RNTN_en&q=john+soanes+museum&aq=f&oq). It is filled with extraordinary artefacts, sculptures, and paintings. It is a beautiful place to see beautiful things. If it’s not in your London guidebook, throw the book in the bin.
