Handel in the Wind…

A few blogs back I discussed Handel in Dublin…Wedneday was the big outdoor choral event on Fishamble Street, the site of the theatre of the premier performance (Neal’s Musick Hall)…the music was a blowin in the wind…we were there with about 1000 of Handel’s friends. During the hallalulia chorus, the audience was not invited to participate – which I thought was good…but that depends to some extent on who are the persons standing near you.

The chorus was a Dublin group called Ours Lady’s Choral Society. Bravi to it…!

BUT, to see an extraordinary Messiah, look at this: http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play?p=hallelujah%20chorus&tnr=21&vid=545871560712&l=290&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts1.mm.bing.net%2Fvideos%2Fthumbnail.aspx%3Fq%3D545871560712%26id%3Da5102fdbee8ffd7eab5a25fc044b3c2d%26bid%3DXHLqhjwe95pF8g%26bn%3DThumb%26url%3Dhttp%253a%252f%252fwww.youtube.com%252fwatch%253fv%253d0Oji-1mEQ8U&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D0Oji-1mEQ8U&sigr=11aughl4b&newfp=1&tit=Hallelujah+Chorus+flash+event
