When we visit New York, we usually get tickets to the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center.

Three days ago we saw the Met’s production of Rodalinda by Handel, but we saw it in Dublin, not NY.

We saw it at our local movie theatre in Rathmines, just down the road…The Met has a network which transmits the live performance from the Met onto movie screens around the world. The sound fidelity and the picture quality were both terrific. What a find!

Also, cost per ticket was ten Euro, whereas at the Met, you’re talking about a hundred more.

Speaking of music, while emailing or surfing, I listen to music on line…a good classical station in Raleigh (NC)  is WCPE. Do a search to find it. It is commercial free. It is far better than WQXR in NY which is loaded with commercials. The announcers are sympatico, too.
